This is a very special post for me. My first wedding that I booked and shot all by myself under the name of Renee Rouleau Photography. It marks the first of many beautiful celebrations to come. It was one of the most stressful things I have done in my entire life because I felt responsible for capturing every single important moment. I am a perfectionist when it comes to photography and I put a lot of pressure on myself to be the best. Later, I realized that I cannot be great without the blood, sweat, and tears that help someone grow to be a true expert in their field. I have to be patient and I know this is just a stepping stone to get to where I want to be in the future.
Lyndsay and Steve are a beautiful couple…their love was so apparent on the wedding day and I was so happy to be able to document their love for each other. Lyndsay was the opposite of a bridezilla and was as cool as a cucumber on her big day! I was lucky to have such a wonderful bride and I know they will be very happy together.
p.s. thanks to my friend Krysta who helped me out on the big day and did some videography! She helped me keep my cool and was a great presence to have on such a fast-paced day.
